The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. What a great and wonderful God we serve! There is no other living and true God like the Creator of all things, the King of the universe. He is so great and mighty and worthy of our love and praises..
As believers in God's own family we have His favour as a sheild. (Psalm 5:12)
We have light where there is spiritual darkness…and gladness. (Psalm 97:11)
We have hope for today and the future. (Psalm 119:81)
We have strength. (Psalm 31:24 and Psalm 37:39)
And there is so much more.
You can find all these good benefits that are freely available by reading your Bible. God's word is bread for the soul. You need it. We all need to read the Word of God!
When you find a promise write it down, memorise it. Telling someone else about it will help you remember.
In these days of trouble it is wise to think on the goodness of God. GOD LOVES YOU. He says he will never leave us nor forsake us. (Matthew 28:20).
God bless you and have a blessed day.

Last Sunday we discovered that what we do and why we do certain things is directly determined by what we think. “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” Proverbs 4:23 (TPT)
King David was not a perfect human being but God called him "A man after God's own heart." David loved and honoured God and God was with him in his battles. David wrote many psalms which he sang and thought about often.
As Christians we can develop a close relationship with the Living God our heavenly Father. David is an example for us. By meditating on God's Word we have our mind transformed by the Word of God.
Everything we get from God is by faith – ie by choosing to believe in His Word.
To help you in this we have copied Psalm 119 from the New King James Translation, so we can all meditate in the same version.
As you read and consider each verse spend time on scriptures that seem to pop out of the page for you. As you dwell on what is written those scriptures will become "yours."
God bless you and have a great day.

King David wrote the following words regarding entering the house of the Lord: “You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise.
Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name! For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you - so kind that it will astound you!” Psalm 100:4-5a (TPT)
Have you noticed that even on the secular radio stations they're telling people to "be thankful, as it will improve your mental health."
Last Tuesday we went to CHT Highfield Hospital and were invited to conduct two separate services in two different wings of the Hospital. All the patients present were very open to the Gospel message and prayer for healing and blessing.
Did you know that you can: “Sing your way into his presence with joy!” (see Psalm 100:2b)
And Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Hallelujah, God is sooo Good!!!
God bless you and have a great day

We praise God for His goodness, His love and protection. Some people are very afraid of Covid 19 disease as they do not know that God loves them.
There is a true story that a fire swept through a farming area and when it was over the farmer found the charred remains of a mother hen. He felt sad at seeing this. Suddenly six perfectly preserved chickens ran out from underneath their mother's blackened wings. She had given her life and saved her chickens' from death.
Jesus gave his life to save us. However he rose from the dead and lives forever, and He has promised to never leave us or forsake us.
Psalm 91:4 (ISV) says that God's truth is your SHEILD and ARMOUR.
Take God's promises into your heart by faith. Say them out loud. By doing this, God will smile on you in a special way. Angels will protect you Psalm 103:20 Speak the promises and tell fear to leave you in the Name of Jesus! You have run to hide under the wings of God. Please look up in your Bible the following beautiful scriptures. It would be a very good idea to write them on cards to keep in your pocket and purse to memorise.
Scriptures to Remember
Psalm 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.
Psalm 63:7 Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
Psalm 91:10 No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.
Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).
God bless you and have a great day...

As New Zealand enters it's fourth week of lockdown because of the Chinese virus also know as Covid-19 many businesses and lives have come to a stand-still. But none of this has taken God by surprise.
In John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
This is not a time to panic but to trust God and apply His promises to our lives. Today we have included a personalized copy of Psalm 91 for you to keep and say out loud whenever you begin to feel overwhelmed with the changes that recent events may bring your way...
Here are a few verses as well:..
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
.And the LORD said unto Joshua, ….. as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee. Joshua 3:7
Remember the old hymn “Be not dismayed whate're betide, God will take care of you."

This is the place where we often sense the presence of God and realise how
much He loves each one of us. Let us thank Him today for the privilege of
knowing God and His loving kindness.
When we receive Jesus as our personal Saviour we become his children.
We are brothers and sisters adopted into God's family.
We are commanded to love, not only our brothers and sisters but also our
enemies, and our neighbour. This may sound like a tall order but it is
possible.
God is not only loving, He is LOVE ITSELF and as believers we are
spiritually one with Him. (1 Corinthians 6:17)
In a world full of negative news and disasters the Holy Spirit can use you
and I to bring the sense of God's love, hope, faith and peace.
Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love
and to do good. Hebrews 10:24 GNB
As a Christian believer you have in your heart a reservoir of God's love.
Believe it and say, “Lord I know you love every person and I will love
them too because your Holy Spirit is in me.”

The Bible instructs us about who we are in Christ. One of the ways you can get to know and understand who you are - is to meditate on the Word. In your daily reading of the Bible you will find that one or two verses often come alive to you. We suggest that you meditate on those verses because as it says in the book of Daniel 11:32b …. but the people who know their God shall be strong, and and carry out great exploits.
Meditating on God's Word helps you to get to know God better. Even Paul the Apostle prayed “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection.” Philemon 3:10
Here is another Scripture worth meditating on from the same book too. Philemon 1:6 “That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgement of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”
This afternoon at 1.00pm we continue our series of lessons on operating in “The Courts of Heaven.” We highly recommend these lessons.
Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice. Rejoice, rejoice and again I say rejoice. Hallelujah!!!
God bless you and have a great day.

22nd December 2019
Welcome to our last church service for 2019 today. Services will resume on Sunday the 12th January 2020 at 10:00am.
Christmas is a wonderful time of the year remembering Jesus was born of the virgin Mary. This was for a special purpose. Let's see if we can figure out the real meaning of Christmas.
Our very first ancestors Adam and Eve disobeyed God. So the beautiful, perfect world became cursed with inherited wrong doing, war, sickness, sorrow, poverty, bad weather, thorns and thistles etc. And worse, the final place which God prepared just for the devil and his angels (hell), was now the final place for humans also. What a fearful thought!
But because God loved the world so much He sent his one and only son, Jesus, so that any who believe in him would not go to hell but be saved. 1 John 4:10 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (i.e.payment) for our sins.
So the real purpose of Christmas is to show God's wonderful LOVE for you. So we say: “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!”
God bless you,

The joy of Christmas is that it is a time of receiving gifts...or is it? Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” So the joy of Christmas is really in the giving.
Have you noticed how the atmosphere changes around Christmas weeks before the day? For a start hope and love are in the air as people think of making their loved ones happy.
When our children were little they would listen to a record with words that can only be described as Holy Spirit inspired. A lot of thought can be given to these words.
“What can I give to the King, Give to the One who has everything ... What gift can I bring?”
Let's face it, it is difficult to find the right gift for some people. So what can I give to Jesus who gave himself for me and now lives in the glory of heaven? In Mark 8:37 Jesus said exactly what He considers the most valuable possession. He considers my heart, my soul, is the priceless possession.
Thank you Jesus! You are a GOOD God!

Christmas is the time to display thousands of beautiful lights. One evening last week we suddenly found ourselves sitting in the dark. Someone may have hit a power pole we thought.
.The best thing we could do about that was to bring in from outside the little solar lights, which the sun had charged. They were so bright in the house, it was amazing. .
Jesus said, we are the light of the world. The darker the night, the better the light can be seen. So don't hide your light (which Jesus has given you) from those around you this Christmas time.
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Dear Church family,
How good it is to know that the Lord promises to never forsake those who seek him.
Also, one of Jesus's final promises to his followers before he returned to his Father in heaven, was that he would be with them always. That promise is for us also. The key is to follow him, and to seek him. see Matt 28:20
Psalm 9:10 And those who know your name will put their trust in You; for You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.
The word 'seek' means 'to follow, to ask, and to worship.'
We seek him by spending time talking to him in prayer, reading about God in the old and new Testaments to get to know his character. Jesus came to show us in particular God's grace, his undeserved favour. He gives us the ability to walk with him in his Way, in the kingdom of God.
Let us thank God this morning (being grateful) and praise him (saying how wondrous he is) and worship him (loving him). He's the One who draws even nearer to us as we draw near to him.

At 6.00pm we attended the Combined Churches Special Prayer Service at the Reach AOG Church to pray together for the upcoming Light Party.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! .... for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. Psalm 133:1&3b.
Yes - the Light Party is to beheld at Selwyn Park in 11 days time at 3.30pm. Thursday 31st October. Please mark the date on your Calander. ...
In the morning we continued with our study in the Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians. This epistle or letter was written by Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome in approx 60 AD. In this letter, Paul reveals some of the greatest truths revealed to humanity in the Scriptures.
,Ephesians 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints...

What a Mighty God we serve!!! What a Mighty God we serve!!! Spring time has arrived, the buds on the trees have burst out their new leaves, and the season of new beginnings has arrived.
Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds,

This morning we will be screening a short video clip of the most incredible miracle we have ever witnessed, of a baby born instantly after the prayer of faith by Prophet TB Joshua at the "Synagogue Church of all Nations" in Lagos Nigeria a few years ago. (Richard & Pam and Jocelyn & I were standing just meters from the lady at the time.)
Just a quick reminder: We are heading up to the Victory Centre in Auckland for the "Holy Spirit Visitation Conference" with ApostleTamrat Tarekegn from Ethiopia on Thursday 17th October.
ApostleTamrat has one of the most extraordinary prophetic gifts in the world today. His gift of the Word of Knowledge and Prophetic words are so astoundingly accurate that it releases a dimension of faith not often seen in New Zealand.
** Please let us know if you would like to come, so we can arrange transport.**

Jocelyn's Mum aged 94 went home to be with Jesus last week. Jocelyn and I attended her funeral in Pukekohe last Thursday. Her life testified of how good it is to love and follow the Lord faithfully.
It is truly comforting to know that the Lord has a place in heaven prepared for those who love him. The Apostle wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4:18 "Therefore comfort one another with these words."
We found it sad to see people marching down the streets of New Zealand in fear of a lie they've been told about the climate changing. If only they knew the amazing promise the Lord has given mankind - way back in the first book in the Bible. (See Genesis 8:22)
“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease.”
Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

Jocelyn and I have just returned from the One Million Children National Conference, held at the Hope Centre in Lower Hutt.
We drove down south on Thursday with lovely spring sunshine all the way. We praised God for the beauty of our country - and the unbelievable number of sheep on the hills and in the paddocks around Wanganui. It reminded us of the millions of sheep that were throughout the country when we were children.
"New Zealand Shall Be Saved" is our cry.
Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Isaiah 40:11 (NIV) He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; He gently leads those that have young.
It was a privilege to have been with so many men and women who are totally sold out to the Lord and have taken up the challenge to serve God. Today, let us worship the Lord with all of our might."Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness." Psalm 29:2
God bless you and have a great day.

And a special welcome to you if you are visiting or are from out of town. May the Lord bless and encourage you today as we fellowship together in the wonderful presence of our God.
Last Sunday morning we read through the account of the prodigal son from Luke's Gospel chapter 15. The father in this story gives us a picture of the Father heart of God towards us His children.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
We are heirs of the Father
We are joint-heirs with the Son.
We are children of His Kingdom
We are family, we are one.
We have been adopted into the family, the family of God, accepted in the beloved, and seated with Christ in heavenly places.
(see: Romans 8:14-16, Ephesians 1:5-6, Ephesians 2:19, Galatians 3:26)
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures this week, to help you realise just how much Father God loves and cares for you.
God bless you

As the father of the prodigal son (in the Bible story) was absolutely thrilled to welcome his lost son back home, so our heavenly Father rejoices when you and I return home to Him as well.
Luke 15:20 And he (the prodigal son) arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
1 John 1:1 (GNB) See how much the Father has loved us! His love is so great that we are called God's children - and so, in fact, we are. During the week, we discovered a video testimony of Mr Otis Clark - who at 107 years of age, was the world's oldest living Evangelist at the time that the video was made. He went home to be with the Lord Jesus at 109 years of age and was still preaching the Gospel up until then. Click Here
Psalm 68:4-6 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, by His name Yah, and rejoice before Him. A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Hallelujah - God is Good !!!

The Christian Centre catered for the local Church Ministers at their monthly Taccla breakfast last Tuesday morning at 7.00am. We were honoured to have Tony Collis as our guest speaker there too. Tony challanged those present not to overlook the children of this nation with the Gospel.
Tony is involved in the Hope project which is sending out the series of Hope Booklets to every household in New Zealand.
Tony brought to our attention the fact there are approx 1,000,000 children (0 to 15 years old years) living in NZ. Out of all those children only 10% of them have any Christian imput into their lives whatsoever - but God is about to change all that as the Christian Churches of New Zealand take up the challenge. We can do our part in presenting the Gospel to the children of our area. Let's reach out to the unreached children of the Waipa. At the Prayer meeting we starting praying for wisdom and understanding on how to bring the vision to pass in the future, as the Lord supplies the necessary teachers and materials for the task ahead.
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them (the Disciples) to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God."

May God richly bless you as read this page today.
I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD. Psalm 122:1
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High. Psalm 92:1
It is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. Psalm 73:28
*** Emmanuel - God is with us ***
Did you realise that the Lord is very pleased when you are doing well in life. In Psalm 35:27(b) David writes "Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant." The word prosperity in this verse is "Shalom Shalom" which means to be happy, healthy, safe and well, and favoured.
God is pleased when you are happy too. So let's put Psalm 32:11 into action and "Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!"
It has been inspiring hearing of many of your testimonies of reaching out to people to tell them the wonderful news of the Gospel.
Just a reminder to pray for all the members of Parliament this week and ask that the Holy Spirit would prick their conscience this week, so they don't pass laws that are against God's Word.

King David wrote most of the Psalms in the Bible. David really loved the Lord and he was "A man after God's own heart." In Psalm 29 he gave us some beautiful keys on how we should approach God.
Verse 2 "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness."
Verse 11 "The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace."
As you pour out your heart in thanks and praise to Jesus today, He will strengthen you and bless you with his supernatural peace. And remember that peace (Shalom) includes: Divine health, safety, well being and favour.
Next Tuesday at afternoon at 2.30pm we have an outreach at CHT - Highfield Hospital / Resthome at 414 Swarbrick Drive, Te Awamutu.
You are welcome to come and join us for the half hour sing-a-long. Be blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

When Jocelyn and I arrived back last Sunday morning we were both encouraged by the faith level of you all here in church. The Lord is pleased with you. Your faith really pleases God. (see Hebrews 11:6).
Jesus called Peter out of the boat one day and Peter walked on the water to Jesus. How many folk these days are walking on the water??? We know of a man in Timor, Indonesia, who literally walked on the water by the power of God together.with.all.his.ministery.team. .. .
Brother David Hogan told us, when he was in Taumaranui a few years ago, of how two teen age girls who had been dead for four days were raised from the dead by the power of the Lord. It will amaze you what God will do for you and for others when you REALLY BELIEVE GOD.
In Psalm 145:5-6 (TPT) King David wrote of the Lord: "Your magnificent splendor and the miracles of your majesty are my constant meditation. Your awe-inspiring acts of power have everyone talking! I'm telling people everywhere about your excellent greatness!"
Next time you share your testimony with anyone remember to "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 .

As we were approaching Auckland on our return flight from overseas yesterday, I looked out the window of the plane saw our beautiful little country surrounded by ocean and thought; "Lord you have certainly blessed us by letting us call New Zealand our homeland."
New Zealand seems so small when compared to many other nations around the world - but God is so good allowing us to live here in this paradise.we.call home. .. .
Jesus I just want to thank you
Jesus I just want to thank you
Jesus I just want to thank you
Thank you for being so good.
"You are the Lord who reigns over your never-ending kingdom through all the ages of time and eternity! You are faithful to fulfill every promise you’ve made. You manifest yourself as kindness in all you do. (All your works are very holy.)" Psalm 145:13 (TPT)
Let's all develop the habit of praising and thanking God every day.
Be blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Jocelyn and I will be flying out to Canada early on Tuesday morning to visit our son Andrew and his family. We will be back here in church on Sunday 14th July in Te Awamutu. .
Next Sunday David will be overseeing the Morning Service. We have put the afternoon and evening services on hold till we get home.
While in Canada, we hope to attend at least one meeting with David Hogan. David Hogan is a very brave soldier in the Kingdom of God proclaiming "Jesus is King" around the world, to people in some of the most dangerous places on the planet.
Thank you for all your prayers for us at this time, and just as the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:25 "Brethren, pray for us." we make the same request of you all too, in Jesus name.
Psalm 66:3-4 (GNB) Say to God, "How wonderful are the things you do! Your power is so great that your enemies bow down in fear before you. Everyone on earth worships you; they sing praises to you, they sing praises to your name."
Be blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

23rd June 2019
Today we are beginning a time of seriously seeking the face of God for breakthrough in the spirit realm. Like Moses of old we are calling on our Mighty God to show us his Glory and Power. We are asking him to release the Fire of Heaven in our lives as he did on the day of Pentecost. 1 Chronicles 16:11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
However we know we must seek Him with all of our heart & mind.
Deuteronomy 4:29 (AMPC) But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life.
Jeremiah 33:3 (AMPC) Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).
Question: How long must we seek Him??? Answer: Until He answers.
We are in covernant with God. Be persistant and don't quit, because .... There's victory in Jesus our Saviour forever. Hallelujah, Amen.
Be blessed in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Of all the nations in the world gathering to worship God, we in New Zealand are the first nation to see the sun rise and to make our way to church. The Lord loves to see us eagerly and joyfully come to church to worship Him.
We rejoice because we are saved, and because God is merciful. Refer to Psalm 13:5 and Psalm 31:7
We are glad when we trust in the Lord and seek Him. Refer to Psalm 33:21 and Psalm 40:16.
We are so happy to be kept safe beneath His wings and because we have been made righteous. Refer to Psalm 63:7 and Psalm 68:3
Saying “Thank you Lord, I'm glad this is your day,” when we get up in the morning (while putting our toes on the cold floor) is the first sign of faith for today. 'Faith' is a noun and 'believe' is a verb. Faith must have action before it can come alive. You have shown by making your way to church, that you believe God is good and that He will bless you today.
May God richly bless you,

After Moses came down the mountain of the Lord, God instructed him to tell Bezaleel this: "I have called by name Bezaleel son of Uri,... I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and ability, in understanding and intelligence, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship."
Did you realise that you have been filled with the same Holy Spirit too? As you are learn to be led by the Holy Spirit of God you will be able to draw on the same things that Bezaleel was given too. See Exodus 31:1-3
As New Testament Christians we are really privileged to be living under the New Covenant that Jesus won for us when He died on the cross and rose again.
Jesus told a person; "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9:23
Hallelujah !!! - What a mighty God we serve.
Jesus said in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
May God richly bless you,

People have said to me over the years, "How can I know the will of God?"
That wonderful Book of books, The Bible, has the answer to every question you may have about life in God's will.
1 Thessalonians 5:18In every thing give thanks:for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. So what is one thing God wills? Thankfulness in all things. Not for all things but IN all things. Trusting in Jesus we can always have a thankful attitude.
This gives Him joy, and in your own heart joy will somehow spring up inspite of circumstances you may be experiencing. Your health will improve because instead of seeing only 'grey skies' of misery you will sense God's blessing like a beautiful rainbow in the clouds.
In Paul's day Christians were being persecuted. They didn't just get something like bad press on the internet, they were actually in danger of losing their lives. If it was good enough for them to be thankful then it surely must be good for us too.
Remember God is a Good God.
May God richly bless you,

A big thank you to the Outreach Team who excelled in their ministry last Friday and Saturday nights over in Tokoroa. The Power of God moved through each one as they ministered to the people. Those folks will never be the same again - Hallelujah !!!
This evening we welcome all visitors as we dedicate this time together this "Evening to Bless Israel." So often we are swayed by the constant propaganda coming from the Mainstream Newsmedia these days and we neglect to pray and intercede on behalf of the Jewish people (God's chosen people) and the Nation of Israel. .
We must remember that God used the Jewish people to bring us His written Word – the Bible. And we have been grafted into the divine "Olive Tree" by the grace of God. So let's rejoice and be glad as we, God's adopted children, shout these words out together.
"ISRAEL IS FOREVER," "ISRAEL IS FOREVER," "ISRAEL IS FOREVER."
God bless..you, each and every one.

We are heading over to Tokoroa on Friday 10th May and Saturday 11th May for the Tokoroa Gospel Outreach. Pastor Brian has kindly allowed us the use of the Elim Church auditorium as the venue for the event. We are looking forward to a real move of God among the folks of Tokoroa and wish to encourage all the Christian Pastors and leaders of the Churches and their precious people in town.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting..life.
Jesus paid the penalty for the curse of sin for every one of us, to allow us to be born again into the family of God...
John 1:12 (TPT) But those who embraced him and took hold of his name were given authority to become the children of God!...
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (JB Phillips NT) For I passed on to you Corinthians first of all the message I had myself received—that Christ died for our sins, as the scriptures said he would; that he was buried and rose again on the third day, again as the scriptures foretold.…
After Jesus ascended back to the Father in heaven he sent the Holy Spirit to live with us, to be our helper, to enable us to show others what God is really..like.

Colossians 1:26-27 The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory...
“Heaven is a presence based culture and if we want heaven on earth we have to adjust our values to heaven's values. Israel camped around the presence, everything was anchoured in the manifest presence of God. God is going to teach us again to have the Spirit of the resurrected Christ dwelling in us to express the reality of Jesus in and through us.” (Quote: Pastor Bill Johnson, Bethel Church, California, USA.)...
There is nothing that equals the tangible presence of God in a person's life, Moses refused to go on without it. Exodus 33:15 Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”
Exodus 33:17 (CEV) ...The Lord told Moses, “I will do what you have asked, because I am your friend and I am pleased with you.” John 15:14 (J.B. Philips New Testament) You are my friends if you do what I tell you to do. (These words still apply to us today)

In the year 1606 a Portuguese sea Naval Officer - Captain Fernandez de Quiros proclaimed:
“Let the heavens, the earth, the waters with all their creatures and all those present witness that I, Captain Pedro Fernandez de Quiros .... in the name of Jesus Christ .... hoist this emblem of the Holy Cross on which His (Jesus Christ’s) person was crucified and whereon He gave His life for the ransom and remedy of all the human race .... on this Day of Pentecost, 14 May 1606 .... I, take possession of all this part of the South as far as the pole in the name of Jesus .... Which from now on shall be called the Southern land of the Holy Ghost .... and this always and forever .... to the end that to all natives, in the said lands, the holy, sacred evangel may be preached zealously and openly.".
New Zealand is included in the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit too. Here are some of the words in our National Anthem:
"Let our love for Thee increase
May Thy blessings never cease
Give us plenty, give us peace
God defend our Free Land"
I will extol You, my God, O king; and I will bless Your name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless You, and I will praise Your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. Psalm 45:1-3

May the Lord bless you mightly today. The Bible makes it very clear inActs 4:12 (CEV) Only Jesus has the power to save! His name is the only one in all the world that can save anyone. ...
The NKJV puts it this way: Acts 4:12 (NKJV) Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. ...
We are told in Luke 4:8(b) for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. ...
The words of the following old hymn came to mind as I was thinking about the above scriptures: ...
More about Jesus would I know
More of His grace to others show
More of His saving fulness see
More of His love
Who died for me. ...
So as we come together here today, let's put aside the cares of the week and give honour, praise and worship to our Mighty God. !!! Hallelujah!!!

Last Friday afternoon New Zealand witnessed the mass killing of 49 people in the city of Christchurch, by the hand of a demonic gunman.
We are told in Romans 12.15(b) to "weep with them weep."
This morning we will pray together for those who are wounded and for the families of those who have lost loved ones from the shooting.
God of Nations at Thy feet, In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat, God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star from the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar, God defend New Zealand.
And let's call on God for Revival in the church and a Great Awakening across the country of New Zealand. It is time for us as a nation to get back to God. Let revival begin in us this morning.

Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides. Psalm 119:8..
It was so refreshing to have Michael and Desma Cook with us last Sunday morning from Creation Ministries International sharing the truths of the Bible from the Book of Genesis.
Former All Black Eroni Clark delivered an outstanding message at the “Day of Blessing” hosted by the Combined Churches of Te Awamutu last Wednesday afternoon at the Rugby Club Rooms. The lunch time event was well supported by town's folk and church members alike, where prayers of blessing and support were offered for the various community organisations of the town.
We have finally set Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of May as the dates for the Tokoroa Outreach. We will post more details of the proposed outreach over the next few weeks. .

We are pleased to welcome Michael Cook from Creation Ministries International to the Te Awamutu Christian Centre this morning. We have been looking forward to this presentation for some time now.
And we also welcome all visitors with us today too, it's great to see you here. We trust that you really feel at home.
Never in modern history has the teaching of Creation Ministries International been so necessary, as the current secular culture falls further and further towards the abyss of satanic debauchery and depravity.
We have been called to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
I believe that what Michael has for us this morning (from the Bible and from science), will help to shatter and destroy many of the lies that have been embedded in our minds from childhood and beyond, releasing true faith and belief towards God in all of our hearts..
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:30 Hallelujah!!!

It was wonderful to hear the sound of the rain falling on the roof yesterday watering the ground and allowing the grass in the Waipa to get a new lease of life.
May the refreshing rain of heaven fall upon us as we centre our affection on our precious Lord and Saviour this morning.
Next Sunday morning Michael Cook from Creation Ministries International will be with us. This will give you the opportunity to bring along a friend or loved one to discover what are the “Foundations of the Gospel.”
We would encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart because he will answer you. That way you will develop a real and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
May the Lord richly bless you all – you are awesome!!!

One of the names of Jehovah God is Jehovah Rapha, which in English means "I AM THE LORD WHO HEAL YOU." Over recent years we have seen pockets of the church world wide move in amazing miracles, but in general the majority have surcomed to the false teachings floating around - that the day of miracles has past.
Jesus told his disciples to "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely you received, freely give." Matthew 10:8. But how many Christians are actually doing what Jesus said we could do?
God wants to show himself strong here in New Zealand and He is continually calling on his people to be courageous and get out there and let the POWER of God flow through them to a hurting world.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17.
Pastor Bruce will be travelling over to California next week to meet up with his eldest son Andrew and together they will attend the School of Healing and Impartation with Pastors Randy Clark and Bill Johnson in the city of Redding.

Wow – what a wonderful time we had together last Sunday morning as Sandra ministered God's word to us all. What amazing life changing power there is in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we will take a look at just 3 verses from Scripture which show the importance of leading people to the Lord Jesus.
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
Never forget that God loves you. You were the reason Jesus came to this earth to show us what God the Father was really like. “God is love.”
God bless you and have a great day.

Happy New Year!!! Trust you have enjoyed your time over the past few weeks of the Christmas holidays, celebrating with family and friends.
Isn't it amazing that for over two thousand years people have continued to celebrate Christmas as Jesus Birthday, and people all over the world are overcome with a spirit of giving at this time of the year. And it all began because God so loved us that he GAVE us his most precious gift.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16.
As we step into the first few days of 2019 - God desires that we shine brighter and brighter for Him each day.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16.
Note: Our first day of fellowship for the year is Sunday 13th January 2019.
Pastor Sandra Roberts will be our guest speaker at the 10am service only. She has a compassionate and powerful ministry. Some of the results of her personal prayers over people (for physical and emotional healing) are astounding. You will have opportunity to be prayed for at this one meeting if you so desire.
God bless you and have a great day

As we gather together today, let's put aside the distractions of life and apply the instruction of this old hymn to our lives:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
And the Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
The neat thing about Jesus is that He imparts His nature to all those who receive him. (see John 1:12) So as you find opportunity to share your testimony with folks over the holiday season, expect God to use your story to touch their lives with the love and power of the Lord.
Next Sunday will be our final church fellowship day for the year, and we will hold the first church service of the New Year on Sunday 13th January 2019. To start the New Year - Sandra Roberts will be with us for one special meeting on the 13th January.
God bless you and have a great day

If you have ever wondered what you would find 820 meters above sea level up Mount Pirongia, this is what you would see - the sign for Wharauroa lookout. ((Click here))
Signs usually point to or discribe something. "And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book." John 20:30
Over the years people in our fellowship have received gold dust from heaven. Also in a meeting in Auckland we saw gems that had come from heaven and had the privilege of actually holding some in his hands. These unusual things happening are marvellous signs and wonders. The signs point to God and the wonders make you wonder! Jesus said "The kingdom of God is near..."
We belong to the glorious kingdom of heaven where the streets are made of gold and the multicoloured walls of the city are layers of precious gemstone.
Over the last decade or so God has been revealing amazing signs and wonders both to and through His children around the world. ((Click here))
God is getting ready to call us home to glory very soon but in the mean time He's giving His people a glimpse of where we are going. --- see Revelation 21:18-21

We are so blessed to be living in this beautiful country of New Zealand. This morning we will be focusing on our brothers and sisters around the world who are living in countries where christians are being persecuted for having the courage to speak out for the Lord.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Matthew 5:11
A big "thank you" to all those who worked tirelessly serving the public at Selwyn Park and helping to make the 2018 Light Party the best ever.
It's such an honour to be able to bless the people of our community in such a way. Watching families having fun together and not having to worry about paying for anything is wonderful.
Jesus said: … Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8
Psalm 133:1,3. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! ... For there the Lord commanded the blessing - Life forevermore.
May God richly bless you.

May you experience a visitation of the Holy Spirit of the Living God to inspire and encourage you today. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock and let the God of my salvation be exalted. Psalm 18:46
Let's take a look at the a look at a few basic healing scriptures in preparation for our upcoming outreach in Tokoroa. The study today will help to equip you for everyday life as well. If you are able to compare a number of Bible translations in your study - that would be most helpful.
Exodus 15:26, Exodus 23:25, Psalm 103:1-5, Psalm 107:19-20, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, Mark 16:15-18, Acts 10:38, 1 John 3:8.
The Apostle Paul makes things clear when he says: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17.
Moses was instructed by God to follow the pattern when building the Tabernacle “For when Moses began to construct the tabernacle God warned him and said,“You must precisely follow the pattern I revealed to you on Mt. Sinai.” Hebrews 8:5
We may not always get things 100% right, when ministering divine healing but we have been gently instructed by the Lord to press on for the 'High Calling of God.' Sometimes in life – practice makes perfect.
May the Lord richly bless you

We hope you were able to get outdoors to enjoy the warm sunny days we had last week. Many of the trees and vines around the Waipa are bursting back to life, bright green for the coming summer season.
The seasons continue much the same as when they first began the day God set them in motion. There is still “a time to plant and a time to harvest.” Song of Solomon 3:2b (NLT) and will continue until the end of time.
As we gather together today let's praise and exalt the Lord with all of our might. King Solomon prayed to the Lord and cried: “Let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in goodness. (see 2 Chronicles 6:41)
Let's make a faith exchange to day - the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3), because the Lord has made us kings and priests unto our God. (Revelation 1:6) which gives us the priviledge of worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:1&9. (ESV)

Yesterday morning I looked out the kitchen window and saw a Magpie standing on the lawn. As I watched he looked up for a second then took aim, and in one direct hit pecked out an earthworm from the lawn.
After watching him successfully do this several few times, I noticed that he was listening for the sound (in the ground) of the earthworm moving – then without hesitation, with perfect skill, aimed directly for the sound and collected his breakfast.
Luke 12:24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?
God has made the birds hearing so good, that they an hear the sound of their breakfast moving in the soil and peck it out – without even looking.
How great is our God !!!
Seven times in the book of Revelation we are told to “hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
God is speaking, we need to be constantly listening to His still small voice. Elijah heard the voice of God.
The Lord God said to Elijah and said (1 Kings 19:11-13)
“Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. So it was, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

Yes - Happy Father's Day to all the dads with us today.
Be blessed in Jesus name !!!
King David set us a great example in Psalm 34:3 when he wrote these words: “O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” As we go through the first few verses of the Psalm today, notice that it was at a time when David was going through one of the worst periods of his life that he said those words: “Let us exalt His name together.”
The Apostle Paul also wrote similar words in 1Thesalonians 5:18 (AMPC)
“Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will].”
If we would just make the decision to exalt the Lord every day (on purpose), we'd find that our whole outlook on life would change for the better.
Song of Solomon 2:12 (TLB) "The flowers are springing up and the time
of the singing of birds has come. Yes, spring is here."

Winter is almost over as we approach the beginning of spring. First the natural then the spiritual (see 1 Corinthians 15:46) – I believe all of us are about to enter a new season in God.
For lo, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of singing of the birds has come.... Song of Solomon 2:11
The other day we were listening to an online Counsellor chatting with his client, and bringing out the truth of the situation. He mentioned to her that the truth would set her free. He was right, because as the truth was acknowledged the client recognized that she was free.
John 8:32 “And you shall know thetruth, and the truth shall make you free.”
God's Word is more powerful than we realize. “For the word of God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]..... ”Hebrews 4:12a (AMPC)

And as Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. (Mark 1:16-18).
We heard of another way to “Go fishing” for souls. In Portugal a church got the idea of sending the choir down town to sing in the Plaza.
They sang hymns for a half hour then said, “He's coming.”..
“Who's coming?” asked the people
“Somebody.” they replied.
So word got out and a crowd began to gather. “He's coming,” they were saying “but we don't know who.” The choir sang on for another half hour...
Then the preacher arrived and preached the gospel straight to the hearts of the people now gathered in a large crowd...
Up until that time Portugal had never had a revival but on this day there was a great in-gathering of souls!..
If you really want to be a soul winner - earnestly pray about it. God can give you an inspired idea like the church in Portugal. Even one soul's salvation is worth the effort.
God bless you and have a great day.

This article was printed in the Te Awamute Courier on page 6 on July 12th 2018 .
Today I spent a while “walking down memory lane” and came across an old photo of my Grandfather, the photo was taken when he was sitting at the dining room table reading his Bible. (I was 15 years old at the time)
The words of this old chorus we used to sing in Sunday School come to mind:
Yesterday, today, forever
Jesus is the same
All may change but Jesus never
Glory to His name
Glory to His name
Glory to His name
All may change but Jesus never
Glory to His name
We are living in a day when activism and social engineering are beginning to erode away many of the old established norms in our society, and we wonder why depression and suicide are so prevalent out there.
The God of the Bible says: “For I am the LORD, I change not.” Malachi 3:6
God loves you – He really does, and He accepts you just as you are when you call out to Him.
In Jeremiah 31:3 God says: “I will always love you.”
But we have to realise that the God of the Bible is a God of justice as well.
If we insist on disobeying the road rules and choose to drive on the wrong side of the road, eventually we will have a serious accident and get hurt and may cause injury or death to an innocent person as well.
The same goes for the rules God has in place too.
Have you noticed how loud people scream and yell when they are trying to insist that thay are right, when they know deep down they are not?
God has not only put rules in place to protect us not to harm us but has given us an inner voice called conscience.
A friend at a late night party was offered a ride home by her Auntie because all the drivers were “getting tanked up.”
When our young friend declined the offer her inner voice was saying “Go Now.”
Early in the morning travelling home with her boyfriend there was a serious car accident and our friend severed her spinal cord and lost the use of her legs.
She said later that it was God telling her to go home but she had ignored the inner voice.
Life is full of choices: “I am now giving you the choice between life and death, between God's blessing and God's curse, and I call heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Choose life.” Deuteronomy 30:19
Just to add some more information about my Grandfather. He was raised, together with his siblings, by his solo mother and at the age of 18 he dedicated his life to Jesus. He had a very healthy and successful life and died at 94 years of age.
God bless you

On Friday we attended the Christian Schools' Music festival. Waipa, Matamata, Taupo, Hamilton came together in Te Awamutu. We were very impressed by some outstanding musical talent. The programme began singing an invitation to the Holy Spirit and a couple of heartfelt worship songs. There was a real presence of the Lord there.
Having met the local headmaster, we are happy to promote the Waipa Christian School here in Te Awamutu. The school offers high quality education based on the N.Z. Curriculum. More than that they teach the love of God, truth, and godly wisdom for life.
For more information you can view their website which is: www.waipachristian.school.nz Please pray protection and blessing over these Christian Schools New Zealand wide.
We have noticed recently that God is encouraging His people to get out into the streets and demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit - by healing people (in the Name of Jesus) right where they are. There seems to be a shift from the big evangelistic healing meetings to the one-on-one ministry by children of God to their community. (see our Video Gallery)
The key to success in ministry is "Knowing who you are in Christ," or "Understanding your true identity."
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: Colossians 2:9-10
When you understand who you are in Christ, the miracles that Jesus did will become normal for you too !!!
Another scripture that comes to mind is: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27
Knowing that the moment you were born again - God re-created your spirit and the Spirit of Almighty God took up residence in you, and you became a child of the Living God.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth...
May our prayer ever be, "Lord please help me understand "who I am in Christ" so that I may release your healing power to people, just as you did when your were here on earth."
God bless you and have a great day.

Let us praise, and worship God today with thankfulness. Why? Because He is FAITHFUL .
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
The meaning of the word faithful is that God wants to 'build up, support, and be true to' those who belong to Him.
Jocelyn came home elated after seeing the faithfulness of the Lord in caring for her ninety three year old mother. Doors were closed and opened by the hand of God, regarding a good place where she can live out her final days in peace and joy. .
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
When we take these wonderful promises to heart, and also take their advice, what a lot of worry we are freed from.
Have a great day

Look up at the sky! Who created the stars you see? The one who leads them out like an army, he knows how many there are and calls each one by name! His power is so great - not one of them is ever missing! Isaiah 40:26. As we consider the wonders of God's handiwork this morning, let's just lift up our hearts in praise and adoration to our Mighty Creator.
We are privileged to be living at this time in history when the prophecies spoken about Israel years ago are being fulfilled before our eyes.
“The time is coming,” says the Lord, “when all of Jerusalem will be rebuilt as my city .... The city will never again be torn down or destroyed.” see Jeremiah 31:38-40
Remember it was the Anzac soldiers who helped liberate Jerusalem in WW1. Please pray that our Government will change its stance which at this time is against Jerusalem being Capital City of the State of Israel. It is shameful for a Christian nation to be against the establishment of Israel.
God bless you

It is good to see you all here today. We have come to worship the only true God, and to give thanks for His faithfulness and love. Also we have come to fellowship as brothers and sisters and encourage one another.
Did the Holy Spirit direct you to a special word of scripture to share? Perhaps you have an inspired piece of music, or a prayer, or word of prophecy which will comfort, encourage, or build up others.
1 Corinthians 14:26 (GW) So what does this mean, brothers and sisters? When you gather, each person has a psalm, doctrine, revelation, another language, or an interpretation. Everything must be done to help each other grow.
Colossians 3:16 (CEV) Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.
Ephesians 5:19 (CEV) When you meet together, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, as you praise the Lord with all your heart.
Colossians 3:17 (CEV) Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him.
May the Lord bless you more and more as you daily walk and talk with Him.

Our God is an awesome God. He most certainly is the same; Yesterday, Today and Forever....
There is Power, Power Wonder Working Power
In the Blood of the Lamb

Jocelyn and I wish to thank all those who came over to Putaruru and helped to make the outreach at the Plaza such a great success. Although the advertizing was not as successful as we would have liked, we believe that those who came were really blessed and encouraged in the Lord.
I was so proud of you all. Because of your humble and loving attitude, the folks who came were touched by the presence of the Lord – and they stayed at the Plaza long after the service was over to just enjoy the fellowship with you all.
Praise God for His promises. The CEV Translation of the Bible brings out the truths of Psalm 91 very clearly: verse 11 God will command his angels to protect you wherever you go. Verse 15 When you are in trouble, call out to me. I will answer and be there to protect and honour you.

God is longing to show Himself strong among us. All we need to do is to truly believe what He says, and we will be amazed. Jesus said - If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Mark 19:23
I believe in miracles,
I've seen a soul set free,
Miraculous the change in one
Redeemed through Calvary;
I've seen the lily push its way
Up through the stubborn soil;
I believe in miracles,
For I believe in God!
You may be wondering why we have a picture of the Putaruru Plaza in the Newsletter today. Well it's because this will be the venue for our Outreach on Friday and Saturday nights of this week.
We have delivered fliers to almost every home in Putaruru and advertised in their local Newspaper – the South Waikato News.
A BIG THANK YOU to all those who delivered fliers to the homes in Putaruru. - God bless you one and all !!!
It is a real privilege to be able to bring the Gospel to the town and trust the Lord to confirm His Word with signs following, as he promised He would.

This week I (Jocelyn) attended a funeral where there was no mention of God, heaven, or eternity. I do hope that the deceased had believed in Jesus and gone to be with Him.
Thinking about eternity for a moment I imagined what would happen to me if I rejected Jesus. After death I would go down to hell where there is no water and no sunlight. Later on Judgment Day at the great white throne of God, the Book of Life would be opened so they could find my name. But my name would not be written there. Tears would run down the face of Jesus because by rejecting his salvation I chose to go to the darkness and terror of hell forever.
I am so thankful and glad that what I just wrote is not the case!
I have received Jesus and I know I am saved .
Where there is opportunity we must tell others how to get to HEAVEN.
That is why we are going on Outreach to Putaruru.
Will YOU pray daily for the people to respond to the advertising of the meetings, and to come to the Plaza to meet their Saviour, our Lord Jesus?
God save Putaruru! God save New Zealand!
This afternoon after luncheon, a few of us will be going to Putaruru to deliver Leaflets for the Outreach to be held in about 12 days from today....
Have a great day!!!
With love from .
